CHILDREN

In our church, we have a specific department, the “Sunday School”, for children whose parents wish to educate them in biblical values.

On Sunday in the morning, we have a babycare service.

On Sunday afternoon, all children under the age of 14 attend a special service for them with their teachers. During a part of this service, age groups are formed to receive Bible classes. For it they use the books of the series “Explora”.

In October, children participate in the Evangelical Olympiad organized by the Pocket Testament League – Spain at the Joan Serrahima Stadium in Montjuïc (Barcelona). They compete in different athletics events.

In December, children participate in a Christmas Service with carols, poetry and plays. All children receive a present from Santa Claus. The following Sunday, it is repeated in the Evangelical Church of Arenys de Mar.

In January, a stand is installed in the children’s festival “Pau sense treva (Peace Without Truce)” held in the Cotxeres de Sants (Barcelona). There the children of the neighborhood are invited to make Christmas cards in a craft workshop.

In June, an end-of-year Service is organized in the church.

Some children of the church attend at Easter and Summer to the camps organized by different evangelical entities.

GODLY PLAY

GODLY PLAY is a method of religious education aimed mainly at children. It is based on the Montessori method and its objective is to make the children think for themselves about God in order to discover Him, always in a calm and reverent atmosphere.

Our sisters Pepi and Marta have been in charge of presenting some biblical stories following this method. We can watch their videos (in Spanish) in the following playlist on our YouTube Channel:
